Madrid Food Tour

Tapas like a Local

Chamberí has bars that have been full for as long as anyone can remember. The kind where the barman pours without asking and the tapas come out of a kitchen the size of a cupboard. Nothing about them has changed, because nothing needed to.

This tour takes you through the best of them. A historic bodega where the wine comes straight from the barrel. Counters packed with locals on a Wednesday afternoon. Food that exists nowhere near a tourist map.

Itinerary

  1. The Aperitivo Hour
Start with an aperitif at one of Madrid's most talked-about spots. A place that takes the city's aperitivo culture seriously, and makes it feel entirely its own.

  2. Into the Neighbourhood

We step into a square that belongs entirely to the locals. The everyday life of a Madrid neighbourhood, completely unfiltered.

  3. A Classic Since Forever

A seafood specialist so loved by locals that they never felt the need for a reservation system, but we always have a table.

  4. Jamón, Properly Done

A master carver, a gourmet shop, and a leg of Jamón Ibérico handled the way it should be. Sliced in front of you, explained, and eaten on the spot.

  5. One Last Bar

We end where Madrid always ends up — a neighbourhood bar that hasn't changed and doesn't plan to. Loud, unpretentious, and completely alive. The real thing.

*Please note that on Saturdays evening and Sundays the market & tasting experience are not available, as the market is closed.
